MIAMI BEACH, June 18, 2003- Executive Chef Arthur Monthapong and Southeast Asian restaurateur Rin Nedtranon cordially invite you to experience an evening celebrating the Grand Opening of their newly opened SUSHI SAIGON Vietnamese & Japanese Restaurant on Friday, June 20, 2003. This event, the first of several future events featuring Vietnamese cuisine and culture, will offer guests a special menu of light and healthy Vietnamese specialties.

To enhance the cultural evening, a flute performance featuring the Shakuhachi Bamboo Flute will take place during the first part of the evening, followed by the sounds of DJ Moses and his percussionist during the latter part of the evening.

On display will be ‘ Present Day Every Day Vietnam', a black and white photo exhibition by photographer Mickey Choothesa of Atlanta, Georgia.

As owner of SUSHI SAIGON, Rin has a passion for presenting healthy flavorful Asian cuisine in a pleasurable setting. Her collaboration with Coral Gables' Maureen Curtin has resulted in the restaurant's interior design, offering a modern backdrop combining vibrant red, white and black, bamboo, richly textured fabrics, and accent Oriental style furnishings throughout.

The regular menu, available after June 20 th, features choices in authentic Vietnamese, fusion Vietnamese, and traditional Japanese fare. In addition, practically assembled ‘prix fixe' tasting menus offer an interesting variety of samples from Chef Arthur's kitchen. An executive Lunch Special menu will also be available.

SUSHI SAIGON, located at 1131 Washington Ave, Miami Beach (between 11 th and 12 th St.), serves lunch and dinner every day. Lunch special: Mon-Fri from 11:30 to 3:00, Dinner menu: Mon-Thurs 4:30pm to 11:00pm, Fri 4:30pm to midnight, Sat-Sun noon- midnight. All major credit cards.
