Foodie Entrepreneur Rin Nedtranon
Our restaurant is the realized dream of Rin Nedtranon, who came to the Miami area some 27 years ago to make South Florida her home. Rin's inspiration to introduce Vietnamese cuisine to Miami arose from a collaboration with a close Vietnamese friend 18 years ago. An expert and enthusiast of Thai, Japanese and other Asian cuisines, she immediately found herself hooked on the unique flavor of Vietnamese cuisine and developed an innovative concept in offering Vietnamese cuisine alongside the ever-popular Japanese menu - hence the birth of Sushi Saigon.
Executive Chef Arthur Monthapong
Born and raised in Thailand, Chef Arthur is known for using only the freshest ingredients and spices, and for his creativity in his cooking as well as for artistic arrangement. He has brought his culinary expertise from Thailand to the US where he has prepared sumptuous dishes at some of South Florida's most reputable establishments including the 700 Club, Chez Vendome in the David William Hotel, Cafe Brasserie in the Coconut Grove Hotel, and more recently at the Havana Hideaway and the Executive Club in Coral Gables.
